All photos are stored securely and are only visible to you unless you choose to share them.

You control what you share. Catches and trips are private by default until you choose to share them.

• Disable camera/photo access

Children's Privacy

NorthCatch is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Subscription Information

NorthCatch offers an optional NorthCatch Pro subscription:

• Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system
• We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment details
• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
• Apple's privacy policy governs payment processing

AI Features

We use artificial intelligence to enhance your experience:

• Trip Planning: Your preferences, location, and conditions data are used to generate personalized fishing recommendations
• Species Identification: Photos are analyzed to identify fish species
• Tackle Scanning: Photos are analyzed to identify and categorize fishing equipment

AI processing is performed using secure third-party services (OpenAI). Data sent for AI processing is not used to train AI models.

Third-Party Services

NorthCatch uses the following third-party services:

• OpenAI: For AI-powered features (trip planning, species identification, tackle scanning)
• Open-Meteo: For weather forecast data
• Apple Services: For authentication and in-app purchases

These services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
